Because no matter the size, every dream is worth pursuing and can lead to a life of fulfillment and success.
Dreams come in all shapes and sizes. Some people have big dreams of becoming a famous actor or athlete, while others have smaller dreams of simply being happy and content. Regardless, dreams are important because they give us something to strive for and help us stay motivated. They can also inspire us to take risks and explore new opportunities. Ultimately, dreams are important because they help us create a better future for ourselves and for those around us.
When talking about dreams, it could be as little as wanting to eat a specific meal for lunch to as big as owning a private island. No dreams are invalid as long as they’re coming from within. Ultimately, dreams are a reflection of who we are and what we want to achieve.
I’ve come across a few people who had little to no dreams at all - but I refuse to believe that no dreams exist in their minds. I’m convinced that they were either too shy to share it with someone else or they just never realised the things they wanted were actually dreams.
Personally, I’m not a big dreamer as my dreams are short termed and achievable in a matter of months, matter of fact, days. However, I do surround myself with big dreamers (and no, this does not and should not make you feel any different) because listening to other people’s dreams makes me realise how hardworking my friends and family are, and that makes me proud.
Dreams are usually calculated by their value and the time it takes to achieve them. In five years, big dreamers would have hoped to be the Prime Minister of a country and the progress of achieving that starts from getting involved in politics. On the other hand, a small dreamer would want to be able to maintain the lifestyle they already have.
The most important thing about dreams? Never be afraid to own up to them and even share it with the world, especially if they differ from everyone else’s. Always remember that one shoe does not fit all but the essence is the same: To live a fulfilled life.
