If the answer is yes, what are you waiting for then? The search is on!
GRADUAN® ASPIRE, Malaysia’s Premier Career Fair, is back and we’re giving you a chance to be a part of it. How? By being our ambassador! Happening 13 and 14 July 2019 at the KL Convention Centre, the annual two-day fair attracts tens of thousands of the brightest young talent in Malaysia looking forward to network and meet reps from some of Malaysia’s highly esteemed organisations. There are plenty of activities to look forward to, like the Aspire+ networking session and Aspire 500 Conference as well as Aspire Lounge, our talkshow format platform featuring prominent speakers sharing their personal stories and experiences. And don’t get us started on the different booths with all their cool attractions! Last year, some exhibitors had foosball tables, video games, and even free coffee. As a GRADUAN® Ambassador, you’ll be part of the action. What will you get out of it? Here’s a glimpse of the cool stuff that await:
Wen Jae, Universiti Teknologi Petronas
“Being an ambassador means you have to step out of your comfort zone. It also means you can showcase your hospitality to contribute to the greater good of the community and develop new relationships with people you meet along the way. This not only broadens your social circle but is also a means of networking that allows for a new connection of friends, which can lead to even bigger opportunities.”
Aisyah Iwani, Multimedia University
“Being a GRADUAN® Ambassador has been a great opportunity for me to learn. I have developed networking skills, the courage to act, and the confidence to work for a cause I believe in. Besides that, I also met many new friends from other universities, and they were so friendly and helpful!”
Syahirah Othman, Multimedia University
“It was undeniably an amazing experience. It helped me a lot in terms of improving my communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, teamwork, and I also managed to network with many companies from the fair. During my first year in Multimedia University, I was so excited to finally be joining the biggest career fair, GRADUAN® Aspire; I heard this event was great and finally I was part of the GRADUAN® Ambassador team. To all graduates out there, you should grab this opportunity to become the new GRADUAN® Ambassador because this can be a good start to your career.”
Mohd Hafidz Mat Sakry, Universiti Kuala Lumpur
“There are definitely a lot of benefits because it is well-known company! Participating in GRADUAN® ASPIRE left me with experiences I won’t forget. I had the opportunity to boost my personal branding and also gained valuable skills and experience I would not be getting in class. It looks great on my resume. I was also given the opportunity to network with new people from companies and also ambassadors from diverse backgrounds.”
Navin Harikrishnan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
“It has its perks for sure, and among that is that you will be recognised by the recruiters who attend the career fair. Representing the GRADUAN® brand itself summarises what type of candidate you are and gives an inkling of your capabilities. Furthermore, it helps expand your network which is vital in this era.”
Kevin Lee, Multimedia University
“The experience helped me a lot in terms of communications skills. It taught me how to approach larger organisations in the proper manner, and problem-solving skills. Overall, it taught me how to cooperate with people with different working styles. You should be an ambassador because it can give you real-life working experience with people of various backgrounds. It also gives you the opportunity to approach the companies of your choice, and that leads to a whole window of opportunities!”
