5 Podcasts That Will Make You Smarter

By Siew Ching

Ready to be inspired, enlightened, and spread the truth to others? Tune in to these podcasts!

Here’s a fact that will make you smarter – there are over two million active podcasts you can tune in. Which makes it challenging to narrow down the podcasts that truly matter. Or in this case as noted in the title of this article, the podcasts where you can learn new things whether it is about your career, things you’re interested in, hacks and tips, general adulting, and yes life.

And that’s the fun part because there are so many things you can really learn from podcasts! There is literally a podcast for everything (there’s even one to help you sleep where all the host does is read you a bedtime story in her most relaxing, soothing voice! If you’re interested in this, it’s called Nothing Much Happens hosted by yoga and meditation teacher Kathryn Nicolai).

The other fun part is that podcasts are so accessible (read: free) that really, not to learn from them is a crime! Plus, you can listen to a podcast anytime, anywhere. Cooking? Turn on your podcast. Travelling to work – tune in to the latest episode. Doing burpees? Yups, you can tune in to a podcast too (hey, why not check out fitness and exercise podcasts – there’s plenty!).
