Goodbye 2022, Hello 2023!

May the new year be filled with nothing but the good things we manifest.

2022 has been nothing but a stepping stone to getting our lives back to normal since the pandemic, from being able to head out mask-free to being allowed to travel domestically and then internationally. Here we are, in January 2023 already! The whole “what am I doing with my life?” question usually creeps into one’s mind at the start of the year. Next thing you know you’re going through an existential crisis because you’re already expecting so much from yourself.

Our suggestion? Take a step back and welcome the new year with manifestation! Just like every other year, it’s bound to have its ups and downs. The only difference is how you deal with it. When you accept a new beginning with a clear vision, you’re more prone to be adaptable to its changes along the way, particularly the unexpected ones.

What do we mean by manifestation? It’s not a new post-pandemic concept; in fact, the idea has been lurking on the horizon for the longest of time but is now more prominent than ever due to current events. Simply put, manifestation is the act of bringing positive thoughts and intentions into being, with uninterrupted vision. For example, you’ve manifested a promotion and can visualise the ways on how to achieve that. You follow the steps closely and eventually your promotion comes through.

Why is manifestation so powerful? For starters, it gives you a clear focus on the life you desire in your own reality. Why do it during the new year? Well, entering the new year with manifestation is superior because not only does it make you a person with clear vision, it also shows how determined and confident you are to seize the year! Because when you manifest from the start of a new year, it helps you stay focused and motivated all through the year. This self-belief eventually turns to improvement in the areas you know need some brushing up because the end goal is too good to not obtain.

Is there an art to manifestation? Try these tips:

1. Get rid of self-doubt
Instead of all the negative thinking, replace it with positive affirmations. Start every day telling yourself that you can instead of cannot.

2. Visualise your goals
First, list them down. Then, imagine what it would feel like to have them already achieved. Feels good? Great - start thinking of how you are going to achieve the goals and list those downs so you have a manual to your manifestation.

3. Surround yourself with supportive people
It’s easier to see the end goal when you have friends and family that encourage you to be better and do better, and not people who tell you that you’re just wasting your time.

4. Take little actions
It’s not about making a big difference straight away. small steps are more obtainable day by day, and they will eventually add up to finally get you to your end goal!

5. Focus on gratitude
Always remember to be grateful for the things that you already have and how far you have come, you’ve manifested this once and look where you are now!
