Job requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years’ of working experience in an audit firm, added commercial experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as team player and deliver under pressure, within tight deadline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of simple consolidated financial statements

Key responsibilities

This role will work with the Finance team to:

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements including presentation slides with financial analysis and supporting worksheets/documents
  • Prepare full set of accounts at company level (involves in daily operations – data entry, full spectrum of accounting functions – AP, AR, GL and bank) including management accounts with financial highlights and statutory accounts
  • Prepare audit schedules/confirmations/calculations for auditor and check calculations/information/documents from auditor as well as liaison with auditor etc
  • Handle tax compliance work by preparing schedules/confirmations, check calculations/information/letters/documents from tax agent and liaise with tax agent/IRB/Custom etc
  • Assist in company and group business plan and budgets
  • Manage ad-hoc tasks/ assignments as assigned from time to time
