Plan, organise and execute supervision of assigned banking institutions [BIs] (including the newly established digital banks [DBs]) and/or financial groups on a consolidated basis to ensure the BIs operate in a safe and sound manner, with no unanticipated amber BIs. This entails monitoring and identification of material risks as well as assessment on BI’s business model and risk profile vis-à-vis its risk management practices, IT capabilities and controls as well as its governance practices and culture.
Administer legal and regulatory requirements through timely processing of applications, and consistent enforcement of laws and regulations (e.g. Financial Services Act 2013 (FSA2013), Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA2013) as well as policies and standards issued by Bank Negara Malaysia.
Job Requirement
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must obtain 5 credits in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) for subjects including Bahasa Melayu, English and Mathematics.
Candidate must possess at least a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Banking, Finance, Risk Management or Information Technology with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above or Second Class Upper.
At least 2 years of working experience in supervision, financial sector auditing (including IT audit) or risk management.
