Wondering what it takes to get hired at our career fair? Take it from graduates who made it come true!

In case you haven’t heard, GRADUAN ASPIRE is happening over the weekend of 13 and 14 July, and it’s the place to be to take your career to new heights. With more than 150 of Malaysia’s top employers looking to hire the best talent at ASPIRE, they could be on the lookout for you!

The career fair won’t be the only thing happening; there will be a host of exciting events including forums, conferences and presentations by some of Malaysia’s most exciting firms at Aspire Lounge.

But back to the career fair – what does it really take to get noticed by the HR reps at the fair and how do you score an interview and ultimately be hired? Hear from some of the talent who made it happen at previous GRADUAN ASPIRE events.

Nur Farhanah Mohd Radzif, CIMB Group
“As a member of Young Corporate Malaysians, we were invited to the Aspire+ Networking session last year and it was there where I met a CIMB representative. I had applied for an opening at the bank prior to the event. A few weeks after Aspire+, I was called up for an interview... long story short, I am working at the bank for four months now! I believe the face-to-face interaction was key to landing the job. By the way, I landed my first job at Accenture from ASPIRE in 2013!”

Farhan Gauhar, BAE Systems AI
“Going to my first GRADUAN® ASPIRE fair, I was not entirely sure what to expect. I had assumed it would be chaotic and unorganised. However, GRADUAN ASPIRE was the opposite. It was easy to navigate the halls and make great connections with representatives from different reputable and established companies. I also landed my first job at ASPIRE last year. All in all, it was a great experience and a good networking opportunity.”
