The Global Compliance Management Services centre is seeking to fill a full time preparer position. This position will be part of the Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) practice which are priority global tax service lines of KPMG.
KPMG Global Compliance Management Services offers a broad range of professional services which includes Indirect Tax matters. Our future GCMS professionals will be well trained to render effective compliance support to our clients. We assist multinational companies and local companies to manage their corporate tax efficiently. We help multinationals for transformation of their compliance functions, bringing together established methods, processes, and technologies to develop frameworks and foundations to continuously improve our clients compliance functions.
Overall responsibilities include working with local, regional, and Global offices, Risk Management and personnel in performing the below compliance activities for multiple countries. These responsibilities will include:
■ Responsible for preparing VAT, CIT and other returns along with reconciliations to support clients internal reporting and control framework
■ Coordinating and preparing responses to tax authorities queries on indirect tax matters
■ Responding to client queries on indirect tax treatment
■ Supporting corporate tax computations and tax returns through data retrieval & query management for timely submission to the tax authorities.
■ Audit support: Liaising with the tax authorities on tax queries and coordinating data retrieval
■ Assists to prepare analysis and other information for submission to the tax authorities during tax audits.
■ Preparation of tax packs for clients internal tax reporting
■ Reconciliations to support client deliverables
Statutory Reporting & Transfer Pricing – selected Candidates may have opportunity to support
■ Responsible for preparing Statutory Financial Statements and working papers, reconciliations if required
■ Recognise and help to deal with country-specific issues and questions
■ Audit support. Facilitate discussion with financial statement auditors
■ Prepare transfer pricing calculations for advanced transfer pricing & profitability reviews
■ Assists to prepare transfer pricing documentation and reports.
■ A recognized university degree or a professional qualification in Economics/ Accounting/ Finance.

■ More experienced consultants who have 1+ years of experience in an audit or accounting role will be preferred for statutory and transfer pricing compliance focused roles
■ Possess good oral and written communication skills.
