EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED AT GRADUAN ASPIRE!

The ninth edition of GRADUAN ASPIRE took place over the weekend of 13 and 14 July, and it was spectacular! GRADUAN® welcomed over 68,000 talent and more than 150 top Malaysian employers at the event, cementing the fact that we truly are Malaysia’s Premier Career Platform.

Leading up to the career fair, we launched our #iAspireForMalaysia campaign that highlighted everyday career heroes who contribute to our nation’s growth and development. We featured over 20 career heroes from top organisations like Maybank, Astro, CIMB Group, Nestle and so many more. Watch their inspiring videos here!

The fair opened with GRADUAN®’s Managing Director Puan Elia Talib’s welcome address followed by the keynote address and official launching led by Minister of Economic Affairs, YB Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali who shared his insights on the future of the Malaysian youth. In his keynote address, the Minister said, “You are the future that will drive our nation’s economy forward.” Dato’ Seri Azmin also delivered the keynote address at our Malaysian Career Fair that took place in April this year.

The ASPIRE 500 Conference then took the stage featuring Syahrunizam Samsudin, CEO of Touch n’ Go; Yeoh Chen Chow, Co-Founder of Fave; Aiza Ahmad, Director of Strategic Development of Boost eWallet; and Remy Khoo, Head of Digital Innovation and Strategy of Maybank. The conference was moderated by Wong Wai Ken, Country Manager of Stashaway.

Wong also delivered an engaging talk titled “The Importance of Controlling Your Financial Statement” later the day at our ASPIRE Lounge.

Right after the conference, our talent swarmed all three halls at the KL Convention Centre to check out exhibiting employers from various industries. They were not disappointed as there were over 150 booths to visit for their chance of a lifetime to land their dream jobs. There was no slowing down either on our second day as all three halls were once again filled to the brim. It was indeed our biggest career fair yet!
